Getting around Honiara

A limited minibus system operates throughout Honiara, while privately operated passenger vehicles also provide transportation services. Traffic congestion can occur, particularly during peak periods.

Participants are encouraged to:

Use registered and reputable taxi services or Public buses
Confirm the fare before starting a taxi journey
Allow additional travel time during busy periods
Arrange transportation through your accommodation where possible.
